Fournier and Wise Recalled from Indy

Rockford, Ill. - The Chicago Blackhawks have reassigned defenseman Dillon Fournier from the ECHL's Indy Fuel to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League. Additionally, the IceHogs have recalled forward Jamie Wise from Indy.

Fournier, 20, has appeared in 12 games for the Fuel this season and was drafted by the Blackhawks in the second round (#48 overall) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

In four seasons in the QMJHL with Lewiston (2010-11) and Rouyn-Noranda (2011-14), the Montreal, Quebec native accumulated 31 goals and 77 assists in 207 games.

Wise, 23, has recorded three points (1g-3a) in 12 games for the Fuel in his first professional campaign.

Prior to turning pro, Wise spent two seasons with Ryerson University in Toronto. The Stouffville, Ontario native paced the Rams with 45 points (21g-24a) in 2013-14 and was named team MVP and a CIS Second Team All-Canadian.
