Amarillo Bulls News Release

AMARILLO, TX - The Amarillo Bulls made several roster moves on Friday morning in preparation for their weekend series against the Corpus Christi IceRays.

Defenseman Wayland Williams and forward Connor Wood were traded to the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees for a 2015 Tender and Future Considerations. Wood had three assists in 10 games this season, while Williams didn't record a point.

The Bulls also completed a deal with the Janesville Jets acquiring forward AJ Duggan in exchange for Roberts Smits and a 2015 Tender. Smits tallied one goal and two assists for the Bulls in seven games.

The Bulls have also added forward Will Harrison as a free agent who started the season with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders of the USHL. Harrison was a Bulls 2015 NAHL Draft Pick chosen in the 6th round.

"AJ Duggan is a power forward that plays with grit and a lot of heart," said Bulls Head Coach Jon Rogger. "He is a leader both on and off the ice, and will help our younger guys with settling in. This is an area that we needed to improve in. AJ will play both on the wing and as a center."

"Will Harrison will definitely help our offense. He is a smooth skating center that has great hands and hockey IQ. He plays hard and is tough to knock off pucks, and always seems to find the back of the net. We are extremely excited to add AJ and Will to our lineup, and feel that we have improved both offensively and defensively as a whole."

Tonight is Plains Dairy Night and one lucky fan could win Milk For A Whole Year, while Saturday is Scout and City Employee Night. The Bulls will wear special jerseys on both nights with a live auction taking place on Saturday in support of Amarillo Youth Hockey.

Tickets are available at the Bulls Office located at 301 South Polk, the Civic Center Box Office and all Panhandle Ticket Outlets including United Supermarkets or online at www.panhandletickets.com.
